At Galala, we care about protecting your personal data. This privacy notice is provided under Article 10 of the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”) and explains how your personal data is processed when you visit our website or contact us.

Personal data we process
Depending on how you use our website, we may process the following personal data:
- Identity and contact details: the name, email address and phone number you share when you email or call us.
- Customer transaction details: the content of your requests, suggestions and complaints.
- Security data: server logs such as IP address, browser and device information, and the date and time of your visit.
- Cookie data: only if you agree, statistics about how you use the site. See our Cookie Policy for details.
Why we process your data
We process your personal data in order to:
- Answer your requests, questions and complaints,
- Keep the website secure and running smoothly,
- Meet our legal obligations and respond to requests from the authorities,
- If you agree, measure how the site is used so we can improve our services.
How we collect data and our legal grounds
Your personal data is collected electronically through the website, email, phone and cookies, and processed on the following legal grounds under Article 5 of the KVKK:
- It is directly related to entering into or performing a contract (Art. 5/2-c),
- It is necessary to meet our legal obligations (Art. 5/2-ç),
- It is necessary for our legitimate interests, provided this does not harm your fundamental rights and freedoms (Art. 5/2-f),
- Your explicit consent, for analytics and external media cookies (Art. 5/1).
Who we share data with
Limited to the purposes above, your personal data may be shared with our hosting, email and IT service providers, our legal advisers and, when required, the competent public authorities.
Our website infrastructure and the analytics and map services used with your consent (e.g. Google LLC) rely on providers with servers outside Türkiye. Your personal data may therefore be transferred abroad in line with the rules of Article 9 of the KVKK.
Your rights
Under Article 11 of the KVKK, you can contact us to:
- Find out whether your personal data is being processed,
- Request information about it if so,
- Learn the purpose of the processing and whether the data is used for that purpose,
- Know the third parties in Türkiye or abroad to whom your data is transferred,
- Ask for incomplete or incorrect data to be corrected,
- Ask for your data to be erased or destroyed under the conditions of Article 7 of the KVKK,
- Ask for corrections, erasures and destructions to be notified to the third parties who received the data,
- Object to an outcome against you that results solely from automated analysis of your data,
- Claim compensation if you suffer damage because of unlawful processing.
How to make a request
In line with the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles for Applications to the Data Controller, you can send your request in writing to the address in the “Data controller” section above, to our registered electronic mail (KEP) address, or to our email address from an email address you have previously given us. Your request must include your name, Turkish ID number (nationality and passport number for foreign nationals), postal address, email address and phone number if any, and the subject of your request.
We will answer your request free of charge as soon as possible and within 30 days at the latest, depending on its nature. If the request involves additional costs, the fee set by the Personal Data Protection Board may apply.

We may update this notice when needed. The current version is always published on this page, with the date of the last update at the top.
